Rule Resolution

Rule Resolution: is an internal search algorithm used to find a best rule instance to apply in a situation. Rule Resolution uses as input values:

  1. Name of the rule needed and rule type.
  2. searches with the class hierarchy
  3. Filter based on ruleset list and availability
  4. filter based on date and time
  5. circumstance property and value
  6. Enforce access role and privileges

      Rules that are set to Blocked or Withdrawn are not subject to rule resolution

      Also rules not in the requestor's access group and Rules with availability set as Draft/No will not be appeared for rule resolution.
